with thanksgiving looming around the corner, what better time to reflect and be thankful. someone started a thread on facebook suggesting to post something you are thankful for everyday. how wonderful? love this idea. many of my friends are participating so i thought i'd join in on the fun.
today, i'm thankful for... autumn.
my children have not experienced autumn like this before. sure, the leaves change in southern ca but not like they do here. the forests which surround us are rich and luscious and vast. for the last four weeks, the leaves morphed from a magnificent moss green to an array of beautiful reds, golden yellows, vibrant oranges, and even hues of purple.
